Looking for motivated and detailed oriented surveyor / field engineer to help support the growth of our business in the Austin and San Antonio areas.
Perform Surveys using robotic total stations, levels and GPS
Verify accuracy of measurements, keep accurate records and sketches of work performed
Perform survey calculations, upload and download data
Communicate with project team members and clients as appropriate to project
Skills and Qualifications - Surveyors need certain skills to succeed in their role, including:
Communication: Surveyors must have excellent written and verbal skills to communicate with city employees, clients and legal council.
Problem-solving: The ability to solve problems is crucial in Surveyors, as they constantly deal with problems in such tasks as planning a real estate project or identifying who owns what portion of a property.
Mathematics: Mathematical skills are necessary for Surveyors to complete fast and accurate calculations.
Project management: Detailed organization and time management skills help Surveyors work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements:
Construction Engineering or equivalent degree
7-10 years of experience
Working knowledge of AutoCad, Microsoft Office
Experience with robotics total station, laser scanners, data collectors
Ability to self-perform tasks with minimal oversight
Bilingual a plus
OSHA certifications a plus

Our headquarters is in Wimberley, TX. Job sites will be from North Austin to South San Antonio, TX of which will be traveled in a company vehicle.
