There are many creative and proven finishes for concrete which provide exceptionally beautiful and durable flooring. The following finishes are some of the applications we have used for both interior and exterior projects.
Pebble finish has been popular for many years. This finish can be varied in color by which type of aggregate is used in the concrete mix.
Stamped concrete has become very popular in the past decade in Central Texas. We use a large variety of stamps simulating cobblestone, random slate, river bottom, brick, and other natural stones. The concrete is typically stained with a dry shake
applied to the concrete prior to stamping. A release applied above the stain
creates an antiquing effect.
Acid staining penetrates the concrete after it has cured and creates a very durable
and beautiful variegated color finish. Scoring the concrete provides additional unique design qualities. Scoring designs can include squares, borders, or any geometric design. Myers has been doing stained and scored concrete for almost twenty years.
Overlays are an exceptional choice to cover old, ugly concrete. The overlay material consisting of polymers, cement, and aggregates
is applied over existing concrete in a thin layer. This provides you a "new" floor which can also be stained and stamped.
Salt finish concrete provides a unique pitted finish.
